Enstrom and Industry Players Support an Accident Free Future
Orlando FL, March 1, 2007 – In keeping with HAI published safety initiatives to reduce helicopter accidents, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation, Sharkey’s Helicopters, Inc., AirSure Limited, and AIG Aviation, Inc., are sponsoring another safety program during HAI.
The program will be taught by Shawn Coyle, training director for Eagle Eye Solutions, LLC. Mr. Coyle, a well-respected rotorcraft test pilot, is best known for being the author of the book “Cyclic & Collective”. The custom designed curriculum will include a review and new perspective on many topics including “peculiarities of the Helicopter, vortex right state, dynamic rollover, mast bumpin, LTE, balance & weight, bleed airs systems, etc”. The four hour, invitation only, seminar will be held the opening day of HAI in room W314A at the convention center.
“Enstrom, Sharkey’s and AirSure Limited have sponsored safety classes at the last 3 HAI conventions”, said Enstrom’s Bayard duPont, Director of Product Support and CFI. “We have committed to making the helicopter industry safer by providing education to go along with our safest in the industry product. So far, we have sponsored and/or conducted five safety related back to basics courses in and out of HAI including this year. The seminar supports the HAI initiative and continues our commitment to reducing helicopter accidents in the long term.”
